A perfect week-long motorcycle tour of Western Cuba, this people-to-people program combines the best of Havana; the Bay of Pigs; the monument, mausoleum, and museum dedicated to Che Guevara in Santa Clara; the charming colonial cities of Trinidad and Remedios; the mountain resort of Topes de Collantes; the exquisite beaches of Cayo Santa María and Varadero; plus Ernest Hemingway’s former home, Finca Vigía (now the Museo Ernest Hemingway)… and more.
This is not a women-only tour… men are welcome too. But ladies get preference!

Of course, I’ll be your tour leader. I’ve led more than 100 ‘people-to-people’ tours to Cuba (including, in 2012, the first motorcycle tours for U.S. groups since the Revolutio, as well as scores of trips for National Geographic Expeditions, among others), I first shipped my BMW R100GS to Cuba in 1996, resulting in publication of my literary travelog MI MOTO FIDEL: MOTORCYCLING THROUGH CASTRO’S CUBA, plus the MOON CUBA guidebook. I’ve been exploring and writing about Cuba ever since.
